Although we are dependent mostly on membership payments to finance our activities, we do run a small annual deficit, and therefore need to raise funds so that we can do everything possible to meet the Society’s educational, cultural and charitable aims. So please do come and support us at our special fund-raising evening and bring a guest!
A wonderful venue has been offered to us by Tomasso Brothers Fine Art, the sculpture and furniture dealers, whose new London Gallery recently opened in Pimlico Road and who also won a special award at this year’s Masterpiece exhibition. The gallery (see www.tomassobrothers.co.uk) is a large and beautiful space, full of superb sculptures in bronze and marble. In addition to being able to enjoy the reception and supper there, we will also have the use of part of the adjoining eclectic Jamb Gallery for a jazz concert.
Programme for the evening:
19.00: Welcome aperitif with canapés (Tomasso Gallery)
20.00: Jazz concert by brilliant London-based Italian saxophonist Tommaso Starace and
his Quartet (see www.tommasostarace.com)
21.00 Buffet supper with Italian wine and food (Tomasso Gallery)
All in all it promises to be a night to remember, and we sincerely hope you will join us!
